History
Neil Sherman and Peter Schneiderman, best friends and business partners, had 30 years and two different business philosophies separating them when they met in 2002. Sherman’s aptitude for innovation and his tech-savvy mindset could have clashed with Schneiderman’s old school customer service model, but the two of them found a way to meet in the middle. Neil often compares their operation to an amazing corner grocery store, “a place where you can still have your groceries carried out to the car, but where you also have the convenience of paying electronically with your phone.”
Peter had a history of mortgage origination and servicing legal representation dating back to 1975 and was already a well-respected attorney in the industry when the two met. From 1996 to 2008 the firm operated as Peter M. Schneiderman & Associates, subsequently changing the name to Schneiderman & Sherman, PC. Today, the philosophy, expertise and humanity provided and instilled by our founding member, Peter Schneiderman, permeates who we are and how we represent our clients.
